Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-17
NeatApply subscriptions, once billing is live, are sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, and refunds are governed by Paddle's own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, together with any mandatory local law and anything additional stated on this page. This policy explains how trials, cancellations and refunds work for NeatApply.
1. Free trial
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed at all. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and your card is charged for the first billing period.
2. Paddle's baseline refund position
Paddle's published Refund Policy states that transactions are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable except where required by law. Depending on where you are billed from, mandatory statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights may still apply to your purchase — for example, a right to withdraw within a set number of days of your first payment on a subscription, in jurisdictions that provide for it. These statutory rights, where they apply, are not reduced by anything on this page. See Paddle's current Buyer Terms and Refund Policy for the exact, current wording that applies to your purchase — those documents, not this page, are the primary source if the two ever appear to differ.
We have not, as of the date at the top of this page, adopted a discretionary refund guarantee that goes beyond Paddle's baseline policy and applicable statutory rights. If that changes, this page will say so specifically, with the exact terms of the guarantee.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future billing — you keep access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not, by itself, refund a charge already made; refunds for past charges are handled under section 2 above.
4. What happens to your access after a refund
If Paddle grants a refund for your subscription, your paid access to NeatApply ends at that point, in the same way it would at the end of a billing period you chose not to renew.
5. Requesting a refund or reporting a billing error
Refund requests are made through Paddle's buyer-support channels — the link in your Paddle receipt or billing email, or the Paddle Customer Portal, are the fastest route since Paddle holds your transaction record. You can also contact us via our Contact page with the email address associated with your account, and we will help point your request the right way and answer any product-side questions. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, charged after cancelling, or charged twice — tell us and we will investigate promptly.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us or Paddle first — a direct request is usually faster to resolve than a card-issuer chargeback, and avoids the extra delay and friction a chargeback involves for everyone.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
